Since they came for grain storage silo, we arranged them to visit our grain silo project in HEBEI BAIYUDONG FLOUR MANUFACTURING CO.,LTD., which is located in Shahe county, Xingtai city, Hebei province. Founded in 2012, BAIYUDONG is a large flour milling factory with several branches in Hebei and Shanxi province. There are 14 silos in their head factory, among which the maximum storing capacity is 4000T and the minimum one is 500T. All the silo projects in the head factory, along with all the silos in other branches, are manufactured by Flyer. In the early 2016, BAIYUDONG plans to increase another 33 grain silos, and now the plan is under arrangement with Flyer.

Chemical storage tanks are mainly used for storing chemicals. Different from grain bins and cement silos, chemical properties of chemical tank surface must be stable so that it can’t react with chemicals. Chemical containers can be classified into different sizes and shapes, and they can be used to stationary storage, processing, or other purposes. Cement storage silo's working principle

  • Before constructing the cement silo, the bottle base of the silo must be erected by a dedicated crane and be placed on the prefabricated concrete foundation. Check out the perpendicularity of the erected silo and weld the base bottom of the silo with the embedded foundation firmly.
  • After the cement silo is constructed, cement can be transported into the cement silo by the pneumatic pressure of bulk cement truck if the transport pipe of cement truck connects with the feeding tube of cement silo.
  • During the transporting process, the operator must press on the button of dust vibration motor to shake off the cement attached on the bag of dust catcher. Otherwise the cement may block inside the bag, silo explosion may occur.
  • If cement block the bag, the pressure inside the silo exceeds the security pressure of the relief valve, the relief valve will open up immediately to release pressure inside the silo.
  • Cement storage system is usually installed with material level measuring system, it shows where the position of cement.

  1. Prepare the necessary equipment for building steel silo based on the diameter of the silo.
  2. Build the steel storage silo to the height of 2 meters or more, and then build the silo's roof.
  3. Install steel silo's roof: using cutting machine to make the silo roof horizontal and then install the silo roof
  4. Build the steel silo up to the designed height, and then pull out the machine, drop the silo on the ground, make the silo body connects with pre-embedded parts in the ground.

For many smaller discharging capacities, rotary feeders are widely used. But for the fly ash silos we prefer to offer our fluid discharging system. This fluid discharging system is simply designed that consists of pneumatically operated cut off gate and manual or motorized flow control gate.

Main equipments for silo discharging:
  • 1. dry unloading chute equipped with venting system for the proper dust free loading of tank-trucks or rail tankers, usual capacity range from 80 to 150 TPH
  • 2. conditioning unloader for dust free loading of open trucks or belt conveyor
In the inlet chute of the conditioning unloader, it is a weight balanced feeder that arranged to prevent the vapor going counter direction of flow. In some cases, if too much air is forced to the conditioning unloader from the aeration system, the unloader has to be equipped with additional suction. On this condition, an additional suction fan and a wet scrubber are necessarily equipment.

  • 1. for twin shaft type conditioning unloader: 40-300 TPH
  • 2. for rotary drum type conditioning unloader: 40-450 TPH
